Vegetable Disease Forecasting
This site provides watermelon and muskmelon foliar disease forecasting for Delaware and Maryland through the Melcast forecasting program. Melcast for watermelon has been validated in more then 12 trials in Maryland and Delaware over six years. Current forecasts are generated during the watermelon and muskmelon growing season in 5 locations that represent the commercial production in Maryland and Delaware. Additional resources on vegetables diseases are available.
