Maryland SNAP-Ed

Maryland SNAP-Ed is a nutrition education program that creates healthier environments and improves the wellbeing of limited income families here in Anne Arundel County. All nutrition education programs available to youth and adult audiences consist of hands-on activities including gardening, food preparation, and tasting opportunities. SNAP-Ed provides staff training, nutrition education lessons and materials, social marketing programs and policy, system and environmental-level changes. Partner sites include schools, early education centers out of school programs, food pantries, and farmers’ markets.

While our formal SNAP-Ed programming is ending, we encourage you to continue using our valuable digital resources. We would love to see how you are successfully implementing these materials, so please share your successes and tag "Maryland SNAP-Ed Program" in your posts.
