The Extension Advisory Committee (EAC) is required for recipients of federal financial assistance and plays an important role in UME program planning.

The Montgomery County EAC includes professionals, community leaders, and other key stakeholders who have a strong interest in UME. Members advise on program development, support outreach efforts, provide essential advocacy, and help identify community needs.

Their input guides UME faculty and staff in making program decisions. Members bring personal commitment to community development and represent the audiences UME serves.

EAC members come from a variety of partnerships and institutions. They contribute expertise, resources, and perspectives that help UME create programs that are community‑focused, relevant, and impactful.

Members are selected in accordance with the university’s nondiscrimination policy. Selection does not consider race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, age, national origin, political affiliation, physical or mental disability, religion, protected veteran status, genetic information, personal appearance, or any other legally protected class.
