Urban Farming Vegetable and Fruit Production IPM Workshops PAT/NM Recertification

Make plans to attend one of the Urban Farming Vegetable and Fruit Production IPM Workshops. The workshop will explore advanced fruit and vegetable production practices focusing on sustainability, food security and integrated pest management tactics. This meeting will provide Private Applicator Recertification & Nutrient Applicator Voucher Recertification.
This class will be offered twice, December 17, 2026 and March 9, 2027. Please Complete the Google Form Registration for the corresponding date.
First Class:
Thursday, December 17, 2026, from 6:00-9:00 p.m

Become a Maryland Certified Private Pesticide Applicator
January 12, 2027 and January 26, 2027
If you have allowed your Private Pesticide Applicator Certification to expire or are a new applicant, then you are invited to attend the Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Training and Examination.
It’s a two-step process:
Step 1: A Private Applicator Certification Training will be conducted at the Anne Arundel Extension Office from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2027
Step 2: A Private Pesticide Applicator Exam will be given at the Anne Arundel Extension Office from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2027.
Registration is required. To register, please complete the Google Form Private Pesticide Applicator Training and Exam.

Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification
Thursday April 1, 2027 6:00-8:00pm
The session will focus on pesticide use and related topics for all field crops, fruits and vegetables. This ZOOM recertification session will be live via the internet directly from the University of Maryland.
This meeting will provide Private Applicator Recertification.
Registration is required by March 30th in order to receive ZOOM login instructions.

Nutrient Applicator Voucher Recertification
Thursday April 8, 2027 6:00-8:00 pm
This session will focus on fertility and production related topics for all field crops, fruits and vegetables. This ZOOM recertification session will be live via the internet directly from the University of Maryland.
This meeting will provide Nutrient Applicator Voucher Recertification.
Registration is required by April 6th is required in order to receive Zoom, login instructions.
